Jason Foat
Scientific Programmer
Jason is a scientific programmer (software engineer) who joined the lab in June 2024. He received his BS in Physics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, his MA in Physics from University of California, Berkeley, and is pursuing an MS in Computer Science at UCSD. Jason worked as a software engineer in industry including at Havok, Ubisoft, HERE/Nokia/Navteq, and Cruise. He works on physics-grounded capture and modeling of biological movement.
